This is a famous picture of America’s Depression of the 1930’s taken by Lange .When she took the photo she didn’t ask for the name of the woman. In 1970 a woman revealed herself as the subject of the photo . A doubt has been expressed as whether she really represented the Migrant victim of the Depression .The photo didn’t apparently help her in any way.
